Tina Kay Celebrates XBIZ Europa Awards Win

CYBERSPACE — Tina Kay is celebrating her XBIZ Europa Awards win for Best Lesbian Sex Scene, her first-ever XBIZ laurels.

Kay shares the trophy with Rebecca Volpetti for their work in “The Taste of a Woman” for Viv Thomas and MetArt. She served as an official XBIZ Berlin talent ambassador and a red carpet host for the Europas.

“I'm absolutely ecstatic (about) winning my first-ever XBIZ award after working in the industry for more than a decade!” Kay enthused. “I hope this is a first of many to come!”

The win carries special resonance for Kay. “Winning awards have never been my main focus in the industry; I have natural passion for everything I do in life and for our industry,” she said. “However, this award has a very special meaning to me, as I won it for Viv Thomas, the company where I (filmed) my first-ever G/G hardcore scene back in 2008! After almost 12 years continuously working together with Viv Thomas I have finally won an award, back where I started my career.”

She praised her costars and production team. “I am extremely grateful to the XBIZ team for recognition of my work! And, of course, I couldn't win it without Rebecca, my beautiful co-partner of the scene, and our talented director Sandra Shine. So this award goes to all of us! Beautiful teamwork of beautiful women!”

Kay also savored the XBIZ Berlin experience. “An extra ‘thank you’ goes to the whole XBIZ Europas (team) and coordinator Leah. I was honored to be selected as their ambassador and red carpet hostess of the awards show! It was absolutely an overwhelming experience to meet and work together with these amazing talented individuals and be part of the XBIZ family. Cheers to the next year already!”
